DELBERT W. MILLER, 70, OF SWEETLAND DIED TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 1997 ON HIS FARM IN SWEETLAND AS A RESULT OF A TREE CUTTING ACCIDENT.
HE WAS A RIGGER AT UNION CARBIDE, SOUTH CHARLESTON, WITH 22 YEARS OF SERVICE, THE OWNER AND OPERATOR OF THE DEE & BEE SUPER DOLLAR AT YAWKEY FOR 17 YEARS, A MEMBER OF THE RED MAN LODGE BIG MAPLE TRIBE 123 AND HE WAS A WWII ARMY VETERAN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: BERA; 3 DAUGHTERS: SANDRA MILLER OF SWEETLAND, WV; KATHY BRUMFIELD OF YAWKEY, WV; JOYCE SMITH OF YAWKEY, WV; 2 SISTERS: ANNA MARIE BIAS OF FL; BETTY BAYS OF OH; 3 GRANDCHILDREN: BRANDON AND KELLIE SMITH; WESLEY BRUMFIELD.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE MILLER FAMILY CEMETERY, SWEETLAND, ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1997 AT 11:00AM WITH REV. GARY HALL AND PASTOR OSHEL BELL OFFICIATING. THERE WILL NOT BE A VISITATION. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
