JOY A. PACK, 29, OF SOUTH CHARLESTON DIED THURSDAY, OCTOBER 16, 1997 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE BIBLE CENTER CHURCH WHERE SHE WORKED WITH THE TAPE MINISTRY, MEN FOR MISSIONS MINISTRY, AND AWANA YOUTH MINISTRY. SHE ALSO WORKED AS A VOLUNTEER FOR BIBLE CENTER CHRISTIAN SCHOOL AND WITH THE CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S CLUB OF CHARLESTON AS A CALLER. SHE WAS A C&P TELEPHONE CO. VOLUNTEER AND WAS A PARTICIPANT IN THE TELEPHONE PIONEERS, AN OFFICE VOLUNTEER AT SHAWNEE HILLS CENTER AND A VOLUNTEER AT THE CANDY FACTORY, FORMERLY AT THE KANAWHA MALL. SHE WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF KANAWHA COUNTY AND A 1991 GRADUATE OF CAPITOL HIGH SCHOOL.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: PARENTS: JOE AND ETHEL PACK OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV; 3 BROTHERS: MARK PACK OF CHARLESTON, WV; KEVIN PACK OF KNOXVILLE, TN; BARRY PACK OF TAMPA, FL; 2 NIECES, 3 NEPHEWS AND A HOST OF FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE BIBLE CENTER CHURCH, CHARLESTON, ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1997 AT 2:00 PM WITH REV. BOB SPRADLING, PASTOR PETER FAULKNER, REV. JIMMY JONES, AND REV. DAVID MOORE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN GRACELAND MEMORIAL PARK, SOUTH CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18, 1997 FROM 6 TO 9 PM AT THE BIBLE CENTER CHURCH, CHARLESTON. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY SUGGEST THAT DONATIONS BE MADE TO THE BIBLE CENTER CHURCH MISSIONARY FUND OR CAMP OF THE HILLS. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, IS IN CARE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
