DELMER STARCHER, 54, OF LOUDENDALE DIED THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 1997 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SOUTH CHARLESTON, AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

HE WAS FORMERLY A DOZER OPERATOR FOR CYPRUS KANAWHA COAL CO. IN POWELLTON.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: PEARL; 1 DAUGHTER: TERESA HARPER OF DUNBAR, WV; 2 SONS: JAMES JENKINS OF DUNBAR, WV; DAVID STARCHER OF LOUDENDALE, WV; 2 SISTERS: VIRGINIA HUFFMAN OF LOUDENDALE, WV; LINDA WASHINGTON OF TYLER MOUNTAIN, WV; 5 GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SUNDAY, JUNE 22, 1997 AT 2:00 PM WITH REV. DAVID OLDHAM OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT COBB FAMILY CEMETERY, ISLAND CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 1997 FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
