EDITH VIRGINIA CROOK, 103, OF SOUTH CHARLESTON DIED FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 1997 AT THE HEARTLAND OF CHARLESTON NURSING HOME AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
SHE WAS A RETIRED SEAMSTRESS FOR O. J. MORRISONS IN CHARLESTON, A MEMBER OF THE SOUTH RUFFNER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AND A MEMBER OF THE EASTERN STAR.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: 1 DAUGHTER: ELIZABETH “LIBBY” TIFFNER OF SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV; 4 GRANDCHILDREN; 16 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; 7 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE BIBLE CENTER CHURCH, CHARLESTON, ON SUNDAY, JUNE 8, 1997 AT 2:00 PM WITH REV. PETER FAULKNER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN TYLER MOUNTAIN MEMORY GARDENS, CROSS LANES. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 1997 FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.
