MINNIE M. MATHENY, 86, OF SOUTH CHARLESTON DIED THURSDAY, JUNE 5, 1997 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SOUTH CHARLESTON, AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
SHE WAS A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF KANAWHA COUNTY, A HOMEMAKER, AND AN ORIGINAL LAST LIVING CHARTER MEMBER OF THE DAVIS CREEK CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: 4 SONS: CHARLES MATHENY OF PORT RITCHIE, FL; GLEN MATHENY OF TORNADO, WV; JACK MATHENY OF STATESVILLE, NC; DARRELL MATHENY OF CHARLESTON, WV; 1 DAUGHTER: JOYCE PETRY OF LOUDENDALE, WV; 1 SISTER: BONITA INGLES OF RUTLAND, OH; 1 BROTHER: CLINTON SNODGRASS OF WARDENSVILLE, WV; 17 GRANDCHILDREN; 4 STEP-GRANDCHILDREN; 18 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 1997 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR BRUCE KEELING OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD AT GRACELAND MEMORIAL PARK, SOUTH CHARLESTON. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 1997 FROM 7 TO 9 PM.
