Juanita “Gail” Spears Shelton

Juanita “Gail” Spears Shelton, 56, of Foster, WV, took her last breath here on Good Friday, April 19, 2019, and her first breath in Heaven.

She attended the Praise Assembly of God in Alum Creek.  Gail was a former longtime employee of the Marmet Nursing Facility with 29 years of service.  She was a great mother and awesome sister, she will be greatly missed.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Evelyn Spears, and her brother Dewayne Spears.

She is survived by her companion of 8 years, Bethel Adkins; daughter Tia (Charity) Shelton of Virginia; sister Annette (Kit) Richardson and brother Lee (Dawn) Spears both of Nellis; stepchildren Chris (Natalie) Adkins, Robbie (Christine) Adkins, Robert (Clair) Adkins and Travis (Val) Adkins; seven grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; and longtime special friends Debbie, Lois, Joyce, Kat, Elizabeth and Patty.           .

Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Dan McCormick officiating.  Burial will follow at Orchard Hills Memory Gardens in Yawkey.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the funeral home.

You were the most beautiful person iv ever know I love u like my sister even tho we didn’t see each other much I cherish every moment that we had.I know u saved my life when I had pneumonia an was allergic to the meds u came to my house an rushed me to ER lips blue throat swelling u told me get my ass in the car lol.i luv u so much an il sure miss our talks an our cries together.You were a good mother a hard worker loved by everyone, you an penny keep dancin we will b there to dance with you to the music of the beautiful Angel’s fly high my beautiful friend I am so sorry an have so much regret I didn’t make to go to Babcock wit u an Debbie RIP luv an miss u

RIP Gail……you was such a beautiful person in and out…….You learned me the rope of being a CNA at Marmet………….you was my best friend outside of work……I remember the night we drove around all night….we had fun… and we do have our little talks…….So you all in heaven make a place for us Marmet CNA we will join you..Love you and I am sure going to miss you…….Tia you had a great mother……if you every need me hollow at me on the puter I will be there.

Rest in Paradise my beautiful best friend. Run your toes through the beautiful golden sand on the beaches in Heaven. One day we’ll do it together again my friend.
