We are sorry to hear about Aunt Mary. She will be missed. The Pauley picnics and get-togethers as a child were fond memories.

I first met the Pauley family when I was six years old. They had just moved from town to our rural community. Mary always made me to feel welcome. When I was sixteen, Mary fixed me the last cup of coffee I have ever had. I was a shy teenager and had trouble putting my feelings into words, but I hope she understood that I was aware of her kindness, and I appreciated it much more than I could say. Sharon and Steve are nearest to my age. All the kids reflect the love instilled by their parents. I attended church with Ernest. He prayed the most sincerely of anyone I have ever heard, and his prayer was always for his family. Mary had the greatest earthly gift a person can have; children and grandchildren who love her.
