Uncle Garney was always a happy man. His smile brightened a home. Going to visit him and Aunt Pauline was a highlight of our trip back to West Virginia. Such a loving and kind man. This is reflected in his children, my cousins. Uncle Garney had the silliest songs to sing. He will be missed ..everyday. Our Lord has a wonderful man in Heaven. Till we meet again. Love You Deborah Kinder-Savone

We love Garney and his entire family. I express my deepest condolences with his passing. All will continue to be on our hearts and in our prayers. We hope this poem brings peace and comfort to his family and shows the world where his heart always was and he can now be found.

He was always Mine

I the God of Heaven and Earth
Would like to say for all it’s worth
To all his loved ones left behind
Remember this
He was always Mine

I wasn’t selfish to a mom and dad
To give them a child, it made My heart glad
To bless them for a space and time
But remember this
He was always Mine

I wasn’t selfish with the children he’d share
I never begrudged them a Father’s care
For I blessed them too for a space and time
Just remember this
He was always Mine

I was never selfish with grandchildren to come
With a grandfather’s love, I blessed them everyone
I granted them all in a space and time
But remember this
He was always Mine

Nor was I selfish to classmates and friends
For at the just the right time, I gave him to them
To help them through their roughest times
Remember this
He was always Mine

I was there the day of his birth
For it was I who placed him on earth
When times in his life were hard to bare
I held his hand, I was always there
I never spoke or acted unkind
For remember this
He was always Mine

And now I ask you to understand
I’ve never been as selfish as man
I’ve enriched your lives with one so kind
Just remember this
He was always Mine

And now I’ve chosen to call him to me
To grant him life eternally
And your name too I’ll call sometime
For just as he
You are always Mine
