Wanda G. Kessel, 88, of South Charleston passed away Monday, March 19, 2007 .
She was a retired school teacher in Lincoln & Kanawha Counties; a member of Bethel Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estel; Parents: Ernest & Gertrude Gillenwater; 3 brothers: Willard, Wilkie & Roger Gillenwater. 1 Sister, Mildred Rigney.
She is survived by: 2 Sons & daughters-in-law: Tom & Nancy Kessel of South Charleston; Al & Maryanne Kessel of Elm Grove, Wisconsin; 2 Sisters: Janice Oxley of Hamilton, OH and Katheryn Lind of Charleston
5 Grandchildren: Tom II, Jerry, Daniel & Graham Kessel, Chad Barthlow; 3 Great Grandchildren: Tom III, Katie & Colton Kessel
Service will be 11:00 AM Friday March 23, 2007 at Curry Funeral Home Chapel, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Rev. Chuck Rhodes officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum, St. Albans. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
