Cynthia Renee Bays, 57, of Sod went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 25, 2017 with her family by her side.
She was a member of the McCorkle FreeWill Baptist Church.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie & Norma Griffith; brother, Brian; and brother-in-law, Pat Dunlap.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Chuck; son, Chad and daughter-in-law, Kathy, whom she loved as her own; sister, Pamela Dunlap brother, Randy (Debra) Griffith; and sister-in-law, Kim Griffith.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the McCorkle FreeWill Baptist Church with Pastor Isaiah Hatfield officating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Sumerco. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to special friends Debbie Hedrick and Brenda Flowers for all their love and support.
It is so hard to lose those who mean so much to us. I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I do hope you are finding comfort in the gift of prayer. I wanted to share some scriptures that have comforted me.
