Hurtful to hear about Bruce after his bout with cancer. Knew him through his brother Billy growing up in Alum Creek and attending Washington District High School and the church where he attended in his childhood years. Our prayers and sympathy to Bruce’s family. He left you the Christian hope that gives you the assurance that you will see in him again when Jesus returns with His saints.

Our most sincere condolences to the Wilson family from the George Washington High School Class of 1969. In high school most of us had small groups we hung around with, so many only knew each other in passing. Bruce we knew from the bands that played at GWHS. After school with reunions, and social sites like Facebook, Bruce became better known to most of us as a kind, caring man who held his faith and family in highest regard. We will miss his humor and political discussions, but most of all we will miss the dignity with which he fought his disease. In the end cancer may have claimed his life but it never did claim his heart. Bruce, we will miss you but we will see you again.

Heaven gained an angel and this earth lost a treasure. Prayers will continue for Pat and family as we accept to continue on without his encouragement, positivity, smile, and laughter. I love you , Bubby.
