beulah-kinderAfter a long and trying journey on earth, Beulah Lee Kinder (Granny), 79, of Ashford went home to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

Many people are blessed to have had Granny in their life.  She is loved and adored by her husband Almon Kinder of 59 years. Her five children, Dora (Sam), Clifford, Pam (Gary), Marty (Tammy), and Lora (Greg), loved, respected, and learned many life lessons from her.

Granny has eleven grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon), Travis, David, Scott, Kassie, Kelsie, Bradley, Marty Dale, Samara, Nicole, and Kayleigh.  She is also blessed to have three great grandchildren, Dakota, Harlow and Sawyer.

Granny is survived by six siblings, Bertha, Thurman, Tavia “Loretis”, Doug, Alvia Jr. “Sear”, and Rhonda.  She was preceded in death by her parents Alva and Ina Gillispie and her sister Eileen Gillispie.

Granny’s love was never ending.  She had nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends that she held dear to her heart.  She wasn’t just Granny to her family, she was Granny to all who knew her.

Granny’s visitation and funeral will be on Saturday October 22, 2016 at Emmons Freewill Baptist Church in Emmons.  Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00PM.  The funeral will be at 1:00 with Pastor Charles Hardy officiating. Granny’s burial will be at Barker Cemetery at Ashford.

Saying goodbye to someone we love is heartbreaking. May you find comfort in knowing that our heavenly Father knows the heartbreak of loss and is here for us as he promised at Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, And through the rivers, they will not flood over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame singe you.”   Although death is the most heartbreaking experience we will ever face we are not left without hope.  God promises to bring our loved ones back to life through a resurrection as he promised at, Isaiah 25:8 ” He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”  How we long for that truly special day to embrace them again!
