Clarence Myers

Clarence Edward “Moon” Myers, 63, of Alum Creek went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice West at Thomas Hospital in South Charleston.

He was a cable lineman for years and also preached and pastored at several area churches.

Moon was preceded in death by his parents, John and June Myers, and uncle, James Howard Priestley.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jo; daughters, Davena (Jimmy) Hughes and Elizabeth (Paul) Rucker; grandchildren, Cory, Shantel and Kiarra Sigmon; great grandson, Qynton Sigmon; and brothers, Johnny and Rodney Myers.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 25th at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow at Priestley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Prayers and Sincere Condolence to all the family. I was so glad, to have the opportunity to visit with Moon at the Thomas Hospice unit a few days before The Lord Called him home. Moon was a great help to me, when I was honored to run the small cable TV Station, WACE there in Alum Creek, back in the 1990’s All his pain and suffering is behind him now. RIP old friend………..
