Margaret E. Madden

Margaret E. Madden, 78, of Charleston, went home to the Lord Thursday, September 11, 2105 at CAMC Memorial Division.

She was born in Lincoln County to Paul and Zoe Brogan Madden.

Margaret went to school in Lincoln County.  She was a former employee of Putnam County Aging and attended the First Church of Nazarene in Hurricane.

She was preceded in death by two sons, William Rocky Pauley and Dennis “Rusty” Pauley.

She is survived by daughters, Jacqueline Adams and Twila LaBar; sons, Mark D. Pauley  and Brian K. Pauley; brother, Dennis Madden; half-brother, Roger Madden; half-sister, Linda Freeman; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who all adored her.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Margaret had eyes that saw the best in people, a heart that forgave the worst, a mind that forgot the bad and a soul that never lost faith in God.

New Margret from childhood. Always was a great, cheerful person to be around. Sincere Condolence and prayers to all the family in their time of loss.

Love and prayers to the family of Margaret , she became a very dear friend ,,after a long time of smiles and friendly waves from her front porch,,,,enjoyed visits and phone calls ,,,she was a great inspiration , she was a christian genuine, loved the Lord with all her heart,,,so glad i was allowed to meet her and be her friend,,look forward to see her again in Heaven,,,God Bless this family Love in Christ,,,,,Freda Bradley
