Clarence “Dickie” Whitlock

Clarence “Dickie” Whitlock, 75, of Alum Creek died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at home after a short illness.

He was owner and operator of the Kanawha Grill in Charleston and served in the U. S. Army for over  seven years.

Dickie was preceded in death by his son, Johnny.

He is survived by daughters, Cathy Morrone of St. Petersburg, FL and Crystal Miron of Grovetown, GA; stepson, Jay Morrone of St. Albans; grandchildren, Allison Jane, Logan James, Mia Gabrielle and Elijah William; siblings, Mary Jo, Carol, Alan, Terry, Elwood, Wayne, Shelly and Mark.

At Dickie’s request there will be no services.  Contributions may be made to HospiceCare, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV  25311

Cathy, Crystal and Jay, I feel so sad for everyone for Dickys passing but so happy he accepted Jesus in his life . Cathy it was so good to hear about him waiting for you to get there and you getting to joke, laugh and have coffee with him, god is so good. He is with all his loved one that went on before.
