Charles Estep
Charles Edward Estep, 77, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.

He was a supervisor in road construction until his retirement. Charles served in the U. S. Army and was a very active member of the American Legion Logan, WV Post 19.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Allie Estep; brother, Robert Estep; and great granddaughter, Chelsie Dawn Estep Barker.

Charles is survived by companion and life partner, Linda Estep; children, Pattie Estep and Mary Renick; step-son, Rick McCoy; brother, Jimmy Estep; granddaughters, Nicole and Thisha; great granddaughters, Khloe and Peyton and very dear friend, Martha Ryan.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 13, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Brounland Cemetery with military graveside conducted by the Alum Creek VFW Post 4768. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

My condolences for your loss and I’m sorry I am not there as everyone morns his lose but celebrates him homecoming to Christ. Great Uncle Butch will truly be missed. I pray that God provides comfort for everyone touched by his passing. Love to all my family.

My heart is broken because I’ve got to say goodbye to my Uncle Butch that’s what I always called him.I will miss you so very much and always love you.You will always be in my heart forever and always love your niece Joyce.
