James P. Flowers

James P. Flowers, 87, of St. Albans died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Thomas Memorial Hospital So. Charleston after a short illness.

He was a retired diesel mechanic for Chemical- Leaman Tank Lines a member of the Teamsters Local 84 of Charleston; Army veteran of WWII and 1st Fire Chief at Rt. 60 West Volunteer Fire Dept.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace; and son, Danny.

 

He is survived by his:

Patty Lazear of St. Albans;

Son: John (Teresa) Flowers of Charleston

10 Grandchildren

1 Sister: Lois Cantley of Charleston

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Charles Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Lively Cemetery, Sod. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
