Robert James Peterson, 67, of Yawkey died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at CAMC General.
He was the fomer owner of the Alum Creek Fas Chek and a member of the Griffithsville Masonic Lodge. Rob also served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Robert (Jeanie) Peterson, Ann Marie Peterson and Joseph Peterson; brothers, Richard (Brenda) Peterson and Randall (Jean) Peterson, MD; grandchildren, Kierra, Aramaya, Brooklynn and Brandon.
Funeral service will be 12:30 pm Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

A very good person. I became friends with Rob over 20 years ago when I worked for Hillandale Farms of WV. May God comfort the Family during their loss. RIP Rob.
