“We thought of you with love today.
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.. ”

It is a special person who gives of them self to be a teacher. Death is such a sad thing. It is such a gift to have such a long a long life as what Mr. Adkins had. I just wanted to say I am so sorry that you have lost him. And I do hope you are being comforted by your gift of prayer. Jesus said that he is the resurrection and the life, and how encouraging that is, but he also said that he will give life again to those who have died. (John 11:25)
And in Revelation 21:4, God promises to rid this world of death. If you would be interested in more encouragement from the Bible, please go to http://www.jw.org where you can find answers to many questions and read the Bible.

Sorry to hear of Rae’s passing. What a great man and what a wonderful life he lived. He was such a big help to us when we had the Duval High School Bluegrass Band. He was always happy to see you and extend that big hand of his! I will never forget that laugh as long as I live. We played many songs with Rae. Thanks for serving our country Rae and all the wonderful memories we have of you.
Our deepest sympathies.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Rae. I first met him when my daughter , Sherry Christopher, started first grade at Kyle Elementary in South Charleston. I then remembered him going to Hamlin High School with me.. I was Flora Isaacs , my birth name. My daughter still talks of Rae. What a great guy!! Flora Isaacs Christopher
