Byrd Daniels, 91, of Yawkey went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in So Charleston after a long illness.
He was a retired coal miner, a faithful member of Eden Baptist Church at Griffithsville and was preceded in death by his wife, Orpha.
He is survived by:
3 sons & daughters-in-law: Andrew & Jennifer Daniels
Buddy & Penny Daniels all of Sumerco
Raymond & Kathy Daniels of Yawkey
1 Sister: Mary Brown of Man
8 grandchildren
2 great grandchildren
Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Curry Funeral Home Chapel in Alum Creek with Pastor Rexal Cooper Officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery at Cyclone. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
