Carless J. Turley

Carless J. Turley, 69, of Glasgow formerly of Alum Creek, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 after a long illness.

He was retired from Multicoat Products in Winfield and a U. S. Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly, his parents and several brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda;  daughter, Christie (Jamie)  Thompson of Alum Creek; step children, Dreama (Jason) Adkins, Deana Ferguson and Patsy (Miguel) Frisco; sisters, Christina Pell of FL, Sandy Fitzwater and Sheryl Estep both of Winfield;    grandsons, Tyler and Luke Thompson and seven step grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, March 28th at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road with Pastors Frank Chapman and Gary Tucker officiating.  Military Rites will be conducted by the Alum Creek VFW Post 4768 following the service.  Burial will be at a later date in Winfield Cemetery.  Family and friends will gather from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Christie and family,

Sorry we could not be with you at this time but know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Your dad was so proud of you and his grandsons. Keep in touch.

Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Carless was such a nice man. We will miss him riding by and the conversations we had. May GOD bless you all.
