Just learned of Mrs. Gee’s Homegoing. We head to WV next month and I was really looking forward to catching up with her and getting to share all that the Lord has done since we last saw her October 5th of 2009. I think she was even more excited than we were at the doors the Lord opened for our return to Central Asia in June of 2011. What a precious prayer warrior! So thankful for her life of faith and joy.

Our sympathy to the family. Can’t imagine the ‘hole’ that is felt, yet am also confident in the sufficiency of His grace even as you miss her.

His for some of the least-reached,
Becky

Peggy was such a joy to know, as she was such a wonderful witness of Jesus’ love for the little ones she taught with such gentleness. Her children ‘rise up and call her blessed’, as she epitomized a genuine Proverbs 31 woman of faith in her daily life. May God comfort her family and give them peace and wisdom as they continue in their service to the Lord.

We remember many the times that Peggy held children’s revival for our church in Nitro. What a blessing it was for us when we got to go back and help her out with the kids. She is one who will greatly be missed. To Fred and Kathleen – know that our prayers are with all of you during this trying time. We love and miss you.

We have known Peggy and Fred Gee (and their wonderful family) for more than 40 years. It has been a joy to work with them in CEF, and get to know them as fellow church members. No one has ever been more faithful to the Lord and His work than the entire Gee family. Fred was as solid as a rock, and Peggy has been his perfect soul-mate. (They must be having a great reunion together with our Lord right now.) We would often see Peggy at Kohl’s, where she was always smiling and joyful. We’ll miss her, but we are thankful that members of the Gee family are still with us to carry on the Lord’s work. Evelyn & Ted Smith

We met Mrs. Gee thru Bible Center, she was alway a delight to run into, her welcoming smile would brighten the darkest days. She was never to busy to acknowledge Kinsley. When Kinsley wasn’t with us she never failed to ask about her, her interest in the children was genuine. I watch children steam into BCS and was alway amazed that she knew so many by name. and had smiles for all! She will surly be missed.

Peggy Gee was a giant of the faith; I think probably thousands (maybe even more) of children came to Christ because of her ministry. I will not ever forget the last time I saw her–late last year she was coming down the sidewalk after the first morning service at Bible Center as I was going in. That’s the way Peggy was–even when she was getting low she was still there. I’m glad my life crossed paths with her and I will look forward to seeing her again. –David Yost

Mrs. Gee will be missed. I got to know her as my daughter Krystal attended Bible Center Christian School from Day Care through 6th grade. I would see her occasionally through the years since and she ALWAYS would ask how Krystal was doing and where life had taken her to live. She had such an interest in the students she worked with. A few years ago at one of our chance meetings one day she told of a grandchild’s recent wedding and that ALL of the family was together at that time. She said that it would probably be the last time that they all would be together. There was a sadness in her voice. But praise God we who accept the Lord will ALL be together again….in Heaven.
