Alonzo Byrd, 53, of Charleston died Friday, September 12, 2008 at home after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, James; brother, Sammy; and sisters, Mary & Hattie.
He is survived by:
2 Sons: Robert and Joshua both of Sod
Daughter: Samantha Byrd of Sod
Mother: Virginia Byrd
7 Sisters: Virginia, Esther, Pearl, Georgiana, Correnia, Vernie & Angeline
6 Brothers: Lakco, Charmco, Jocko, Andy, Henry & Jimmy
A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Temple Baptist Church, 412 – 21st St., North Charleston.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior at the church.
