Lillian Pauline Adkins Estep

Lillian Pauline Adkins Estep 82 of Sumerco went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston.  She was an active & joyful member of the Sumerco Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsel Parents, Charles F. Adkins & Amelia Mount Castle Adkins; brothers Glen, Freer, Thomas C. “Bub”, Delmer “Sad”Adkins, sisters Marie Adkins, Kathleen Holley, Eloise McNeely.

She was survived by daughter and son-in-law Linda and Wyman Nelson of Dunnellon Fl; son Charles Estep of Sumerco; three brothers Fred and Frank Adkins both of Yawkey, Clarence Adkins of Griffithsville; three sisters Evelyn Oxley of Charleston, Pearl Watts of Dunbar, Hazel Hill of South Charleston; three grandchildren Jack Meeks, Julie Durando, April Estep and three great grandchildren.  

Services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastors Richard McCallister and Butch Loftis officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends will gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home
