Beulah M. Lilly Mooney, 67 of South Charleston, died Saturday, October 30, 1999 at CAMC Memorial Division after a long illness.

She was a former employee of Swans Laundry Mat in Charleston and formerly attended Hilltop Baptist Church at South Charleston.

She is survived by her: Husband: Carl “Shug” Mooney; 2 Sons: Gary Lilly of Hurricane, WV; Larry Lilly of Belle, WV; 2 Daughters: Cheryl Counts of Charleston,WV; Tammy Hunt of South Charleston, WV; 1 Sister: Eulah Fay Duncan of Alum Creek, W V; 1 Brother: Franklin G. Lilly of Alum Creek, WV; 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek with Pastor John Jicka officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park in South Charleston. Friends may call form 7 to 9 PM on Monday, November 1, 1999 at the funeral home.

Thelma Edith Hudson, 92, of Charleston died Thursday, October 28, 1999 at the home of her son Cleon Hudson of Charleston, after a long illness.

She was a homemaker, a life long resident of Kanawha County and a Baptist.

She is also survived by her: 1 Daughter: Ann Lori Walker of TX; 3 Sons: Garrett Hudson of St. Albans, WV; Calbert Hudson of Davis Creek, WV; Doyle Hudson of Alum Creek, WV; 27 Grandchildren, 57 Great Grandchildren, 22 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, October 30, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gene Pauley officiating. Burial will be held in the French Cemetery, Charleston. Harold W. Vickers, 73, of Ravenswood, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Parkersburg, after a short illness.

He was retired from Kroger’s with 38 years service and was a member of the Teamster Union.

He is survived by his: Wife: Marie; 3 Sons: Harold Rodger Vickers of Salisbury, NC; Bruce Wayne Vickers of Danville, WV; Bobby Allen Vickers of Danville, WV; 2 Sisters: Brookie Breedlove of Woodville, WV; Francis Summerfield of Alum Creek, WV; 2 Grandchildren: Mary Anne and Kayla Shea.

Catherine M. Fannin, 79, of South Charleston, formerly of Alum Creek died Monday, October 25, 1999 at Thomas Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, South Charleston after a long illness.

She was retired from Kanawha County Board of Education where she worked as a cook at Washington District Junior High School, she attended the Alum Creek Church of the Nazarene and she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Fannin in 1967.

She is survived by her: 1 Son: Pastor Robert L. Fannin of Hagerstown, IN; 4 Daughters: Jeanne Smith of Tarpon Springs, FL; Patty Ashley of Parkersburg, WV; Cathy Moran of Canonsburg, PA; Nancy Lynn Gaston of Hurricane, W V; 2 Brothers: Tony Severino of TX; Sam Severino of Elkins, WV; 3 Sisters: Thelma Severino of Huntington, WV; Mary Denna of Richwood, WV; Thersa Johnson of Richwood, WV; 8 Grandchildren.

Seymour E. Holstein, 89 of Emmons died Sunday, October 17, 1999 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston after a long illness.

He was a retired coal miner and formerly worked at Black Band Coal Co. on Lynns Creek and was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of Emmons Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his: 2 Brothers: Gilbert Holstein of Charleston, WV; Sherman Holstein of Emmons, WV; 1 Sister: Nellie Armstrong of Hernshaw, WV; Several nieces and nephews.

Thelma Jean Henderson Pierce, 71, of Tappahannock, Virginia died Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia following a cerebral hemorrhage and brief hospitalization.

She attended Morris Harvey College in Charleston , was a former employee of Union Carbide, South Charleston, was an apartment rental manager in Arlington, Virginia, a homemaker, and was a member of the Northern Neck Baptist Church, Callao, Virginia.

She is survived by her: Husband: Edward; 1 Daughter: Dee Huss of Manassas, VA; 3 Sons: Edward Pierce of Arlington, VA; Thomas Pierce of Chantilly, VA; Daniel Pierce of Manassas, VA; 1 Sister: Mildred “Midge” Hendricks of Scott Depot, WV; 4 Grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans, on Saturday, October 16, 1999 at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Charles Hendricks and Rev. Curtiss Stewart officiating. Burial will be held in the Henderson Family plot at Cunningham Memorial Pazk, St. Albans. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Missions Fund, Northern Neck Baptist Church, PO Box 177, Callao, Virginia 22435. There will be no visitation.
